With the Red Sox' magic number for clinching the American League East now at 2, Boston will have a chance to accomplish the feat in New York.

Boston begins a three-game series vs the Yankees on Tuesday with an 11 1/2-game division lead. The Red Sox are coming off a series in which they took two of three games from the Mets, while the Yankees dropped two of three in their series with the Blue Jays.

Nathan Eovaldi vs J.A. Happ is the probable pitching matchup on Tuesday, followed by David Price vs Luis Severino on Wednesday. Thursday's matchup is TBA.

In their last series vs the Yankees in early August, the Red Sox completed a four-game sweep.
