Red Sox Lineup: Nathan Eovaldi on the mound, Dustin Pedroia plays second straight game

The Boston Red Sox are readying for their second game against the Toronto Blue Jays. On Tuesday, the Red Sox dropped their home opener to the Blue Jays by a score of 7-5. After a day off on Wednesday, they'll be rolling out their lineup at full strength on Thursday night.

Nathan Eovaldi will get the start for the Red Sox. In two starts this year, Eovaldi has a 0-0 record and an 8.10 ERA. He has struggled with his command at times, allowing six walks and four home runs in just 10 innings pitched. He'll look to get back on track against a weak-hitting Blue Jays lineup (their .193 average ranks second-worst in the MLB).

Dustin Pedroia is playing in his second consecutive game for the Red Sox as well. Of course, with the day off Wednesday, Pedroia had extra time to recover after the opener, but it's still a good sign for the Red Sox that he is able to play again quickly. Pedroia went 1-4 in his season debut.
