Nathan Eovaldi was nasty yet again on Saturday vs. the Toronto Blue Jays.

Eovaldi has dazzled in each of his three spring outings. Combining all three, he has 12 strikeouts and four hits allowed in eight innings pitched. He's walked one batter and hasn't allowed a run.

The biggest issue with Eovaldi heading into the 2020 campaign is health. The 30-year-old has dealt with nagging elbow injuries throughout his career, including in 2019 when he was only able to contribute 67 2/3 innings.

His durability will be integral to Boston's success this time around with ace Chris Sale slated to miss some time, plus plenty of uncertainty at the back end of the rotation.

Only time will tell whether Eovaldi can carry this success over into the regular season. But so far, so good for the 2018 World Series hero.

The Red Sox went on to beat the Blue Jays, 5-2.
