It's been a week to remember for Boston Red Sox prospect Brayan Bello.
One day after cracking Baseball America's Top 100 Prospects list, the right-hander showed why he's considered the top pitching prospect in Boston's system. Bello tossed a seven-inning no-hitter in the second game of the Portland Sea Dogs' doubleheader on Thursday night.

The soon-to-be 23-year-old was named the Red Sox Minor League Pitcher of the Year last season. So far in 2022, he's struck out 37 hitters in 27.2 innings pitched. He's notched a 1.95 ERA and 1.19 WHIP through five starts.
Portland also got a gem out of another one of Boston's top pitching prospects, Brandon Walter, in Game 1 of the doubleheader. The southpaw pitched six shutout innings, allowing three hits and striking out 10.
