Rafael Devers wasted no time making his presence felt in his first MLB All-Star Game.

The Boston Red Sox third baseman stepped to the plate in the second inning and knocked a double down the right field line off Milwaukee Brewers righty Corbin Burnes. The timely hit advanced New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge to third and set up the American League's first run of the night.

He even remembered to wave to his teammates in the AL dugout, carrying the Red Sox' tradition into the All-Star Game.

Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts struck out against Max Scherzer in the first inning and hit a single off Burnes in the third. Devers grounded out in his second at-bat of the night.

J.D. Martinez, Nathan Eovaldi and Matt Barnes joined Bogaerts and Devers in representing Boston at the All-Star Game in Denver.
