Nathan Eovaldi was on his game Sunday during his spring training start vs. the Atlanta Braves.

The Boston Red Sox right-hander tossed three shutout innings, allowing only one hit (an infield single) and striking out four.

Between his first two spring starts, Eovaldi has tallied eight strikeouts and allowed three hits in five innings pitched. If the hard-throwing 30-year-old can carry this momentum into the regular season, that'll be huge for a Red Sox team that has a number of question marks in its pitching staff.

Eovaldi's performance follows what was a sensational outing by Red Sox left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez on Saturday vs. the New York Yankees. Unlike that game, Boston was able to earn the win Sunday, edging out Atlanta, 4-2.
