Winners of eight of their last 10 games, the Red Sox have their first chance to go above .500 since March on Friday night when they open up a three-game series against the Mariners.

The matchup kicks off an eight-game homestand that also includes Boston's first home interleague series of the season (two games against the Rockies) and an ALCS rematch (three games against the Astros).

The top six in the Red Sox lineup remain the same for the third game in a row, while Michael Chavis returns to the batting order at second base.

Christian Vazquez will be behind the plate catching Eduardo Rodriguez, who is undefeated at Fenway Park this season (2-0, 3.63 ERA in three starts).
