The Boston Red Sox took down the Miami Marlins 5-3 on Thursday to take the series, 2-1.
Nathan Eovaldi delivered with a rock-solid start for Boston, tossing five shutout innings while allowing only two hits and striking out seven.
Rafael Devers was the star offensively with two hits, including a three-run home run for his 11th of the year. Alex Verdugo and Xander Bogaerts tallied three and two hits respectively.
