Tampa Bay Rays left-hander Blake Snell shut down the Boston Red Sox lineup on Friday night tossing 5.1 innings and not allowing a run in the Rays' win.
Nate Lowe crushed two homers for Tampa, and Yoshi Tsutsugo added one of his own.
Andrew Triggs was the opener for the Red Sox, pitching only one inning before Matt Hall took the mound in the second and allowed four runs in 2.1 innings pitched. The rest of the bullpen didn't fare much better, allowing seven more runs in the loss.
