The Boston Red Sox got home runs from Michael Chavis and Christian Arroyo, but they still were unable to keep up with the Tampa Bay Rays on Saturday night.

Austin Meadows and Nate Lowe crushed homers for Tampa, and former Sox prospect Manuel Margot did some damage with a two-run double.

Nathan Eovaldi returned to the mound for the Red Sox after a stint on the injured list. The right-hander allowed  one run in three innings of work.

Tyler Glasnow took the hill for Tampa, allowing four runs in seven innings and striking out seven.

The loss officially eliminates Boston from winning the American League East.
