Five suspects in the shooting of Red Sox legend David Ortiz, including the gunman, reportedly have been detained.

The Dominican Republic's chief prosecutor Jean Alain Rodríguez Sánchez shared the news during a press conference on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Associated Press. Sanchez says witnesses claim the shooting was carried out by two men on a motorcycle and two other groups of people in cars.

The name of the alleged shooter is Rolfy Ferrery, a.k.a. Sandy, according to AP.

Dominican Chief of Police Ney A. Bautista said Wednesday the suspects were offered $400,000 Dominican pesos (less than $8,000 in U.S. Dollars) to kill Ortiz.
