In the second inning of Friday night's game vs. the New York Yankees, the Boston Red Sox infielder crushed a two-run shot off left-hander Jordan Montgomery for Boston's first post-All-Star break home run.

Arroyo's blast extended the Red Sox' early lead to 3-0. Hunter Renfroe drove in a run on a groundout earlier in the inning.
The homer marked Arroyo's sixth of the 2021 campaign.
