WATCH: Sox prospect Jarren Duran crushes another HR amid hot streak

Boston Red Sox fans are hoping red-hot prospect Jarren Duran is called up to the majors soon, and those calls are only going to get louder after Wednesday's Triple-A game.

Duran blasted his 13th home run of the season for the Worcester Red Sox. The 24-year-old outfielder took a fastball deep to right field and well over the wall. You could tell the ball was leaving the yard as soon as it left the bat.

These stats show why Rafael Devers might be MLB's top third baseman

Check out the impressive blast in the video below:

Despite Duran's latest display of power, the WooSox lost 5-3 to Rochester.

Three days ago Duran hit a walk-off homer for the WooSox. He has three home runs with eight RBI in his last five games.

Overall, Duran is batting .291 with 13 homers, 26 RBI, 28 runs scored and a .381 on-base percentage in 32 games for the WooSox this year.

The Red Sox already have one of the best offenses in the MLB. Only the Houston Astros have scored more runs than the Sox entering Wednesday's games.

Still, the Red Sox absolutely should try to find some at-bats for Duran at some point in the near future. Getting him some experience before a potential postseason run would be pretty valuable.
