Xander Bogaerts continued to stay hot for the Boston Red Sox on Thursday night. And in the process of doing so, he set a new personal record.

In the first inning of the Red Sox' game against the Tampa Bay Rays, Bogaerts came up to bat against rookie pitcher Brendan McKay. Bogaerts absolutely crushed an inside fastball from the 23-year-old over the Green Monster. The 383-foot blast was the 24th of the season for Bogaerts and set a new career-high homer mark for the All-Star shortstop.

Here's a look at the blast, and Bogaerts' reaction to it, via the Red Sox official Twitter account.

Bogaerts' previous personal best was his 23-homer campaign last season. He is on pace to hit about 33 homers during the 2019 campaign.

Bogaerts also moved into the team lead for homers this year by virtue of his blast. J.D. Martinez (23) and Rafael Devers (21) are the only other Red Sox with more than 20 homers as of this writing.

UPDATE: Bogaerts didn't stay stuck at 24 homers for long. He hit his 25th in the bottom of the fifth to bring the Red Sox within one run of the Rays.
