Here's when Sale likely will make next rehab start

Chris Sale has given Boston Red Sox fans plenty to be excited about as he works his way back from Tommy John surgery.

Sale was electric in his rehab start for Double-A Portland on Tuesday night. In 3 2/3 scoreless innings, the left-hander didn't allow a hit and struck out six in an overpowering performance.

The next test for Sale is another start for Portland on Sunday, according to Red Sox manager Alex Cora.

The Sea Dogs are scheduled to take on the Harrisburg Senators -- the same team Sale dominated Tuesday  -- Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. If all goes well once again, we could see Sale back in the big-league rotation before we know it.
