The New England Revolution were on track to clinch a spot in the knockout round of the MLS is Back tournament, but they failed to get the job done vs. D.C. United on Friday night.
After a scoreless first half, Adam Buksa got the Revs on the board with a beauty of a header.
New England held the lead for roughly 20 minutes before D.C. United's Federico Higuain tied it up, and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

So what does that mean for the Revs going forward? After Friday night's game, they're tied atop the Group C standings with Toronto FC. That certainly makes Tuesday's matchup against Toronto even more interesting.
