The New England Revolution re-signed yet another Michigan native early Tuesday afternoon.

After signing DeJuan Jones on Nov. 15, the Revs have re-signed defender Brandon Bye. The 23-year-old will occupy a roster spot in 2020 as he looks to improve in his third season with New England. He also tweeted about the news Tuesday:

Bye has appeared in 54 games, including 46 starts, while notching three goals and four assists. He was selected by the Revs with the No. 8 overall pick in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft out of Western Michigan University, where he led the Broncos to a MAC regular season championship in 2017.

Bye's deal comes after New England inked left back Alexander Büttner and 16-year-old midfielder Damian Rivera earlier this month.

While the team continues to make key signings, they could see a player depart the organization Tuesday as either Inter Miami or Nashville SC could select a player who has not been protected by New England in the MLS Expansion Draft.
