Revolution Classics: How to watch Revs vs. Red Bulls 2014 Eastern Conference Championship series

With no MLS games for the foreseeable future, NBC Sports Boston will give New England Revolution fans a chance to get their fix by re-airing some classic games, beginning Saturday afternoon with a look back at the 2014 Eastern Conference Championship series against the New York Red Bulls.

In the first leg of the series, more than 1,200 Revolution fans traveled to New York to watch their club take on the Red Bulls on Nov. 23, 2014. That traveling paid off, too, as both Jermaine Jones and Teal Bunbury had a goal and an assist in the match. While Jones and Bunbury handled things up top, Bobby Shuttleworth stopped six of seven shots in goal.

This match was magical for a Revs side who lacked possession (39.7 percent), pass accuracy (72 percent) and shots on goal (four) -- they trailed in all of those categories. Although they didn't control the pace of play, they made their scoring opportunities count in a 2-1 win over the Red Bulls.

The Revs' victory was their first-ever win at Red Bull Arena and their first win on the road over the Red Bulls in seven years.
