Seth Sinovic is back where his MLS career began.
The veteran defender has signed with the New England Revolution as a free agent after spending the last nine seasons with Sporting Kansas City. Sinovic was selected by the Revs in the second round of the 2010 MLS Superdraft and played one season with the club.
“Seth brings a wealth of experience in MLS and a winning pedigree to our roster,” Revolution head coach Bruce Arena said. “We are excited to welcome Seth back to New England and are eager to begin working with him in January.”
Sinovic helped Sporting KC to an MLS Cup title in 2013 and was the club's Defender of the Year in 2014.
The Revolution also recently signed midfielder Kelyn Rowe, so they cannot acquire another player via free agency this offseason.
