Sixteen league games, three games in the 2011 76 Classic and a home game against Penn State in the Big Ten-ACC Challenge highlight the 2011-12 Boston College men's basketball schedule.
BC opens its season against New Hampshire in Conte Forum on Monday, Nov. 14. It will host Massachusetts (Dec.21), Boston University (Dec. 3), Bryant (Dec. 18), Sacred Heart (Dec. 21), Harvard (Dec. 29) and Rhode Island (Jan. 2), while traveling to Jesuit rival Holy Cross (Nov. 18) and former Big East foe Providence (Dec. 8).
The 2011-12 schedule features at least 10 nationally-televised contests. Additional dates could be added to this list.

The Eagles travel to the 76 Classic in Anaheim, Calif and open the tournament against Saint Louis, another Jesuit institution, on ESPNU at 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 24). BC will play either Villanova or UC-Riverside in the second round.
Boston College will host the Nittany Lions in the Big Ten-ACC Challenge on Nov. 30. The game will be televised by ESPNU.
The Eagles begin their December slate against Boston University, and then play at Providence. BC continues with consecutive home games against Stony Brook, Bryant and Sacred Heart before Christmas, and then Harvard and Rhode Island after the holiday.
Boston College opens ACC play at North Carolina on Saturday, Jan. 7.
