Rejoice, Celtic Nation:
There's two things I'm really liking about the NBA right now. One is that Tatum's Jersey is the #7 best seller this year which is dope. Two is that I feel like I hate everyone who's not a Celtic now more than ever and that gets me pumped for this season.— Yaaa Boyyyyy⚓️ (@yaboygallant) June 28, 2018
Whatever works to fuel that fire. And in this case @yaboygallant is feeding his hate with the fact that Jayson Tatum has the seventh-most popular jersey -- repeat, SEVENTH -- in the NBA, according to overall sales on NBAStore.com from April through June:
That's Jayson Tatum ahead of Joel Embiid, Draymond Green and Anthony Davis. Not to mention Chris Paul. And the Greek Freak.
And not only did the Celtics have the third- (Kyrie Irving) and seventh-most popular players, they were also the third-most popular team:
Behind the two NBA finalists, no less.
The time period covered the entire playoffs and the Celtics made it to the seventh game of the conference finals, so it's not surprising they'd do well.
But Tatum at No. 7?
As @yaboygallant says, that's dope.
