The New England Revolution will advance to the knockout stage of the MLS is Back Tournament in Orlando, but where they'll be seeded is unclear.

The Revs played Toronto FC to a 0-0 draw Tuesday morning in their final group stage game of the MLS is Back Tournament in Orlando.

New England and Toronto both have five points apiece to lead Group C, with Toronto owning the first-place tie-breaker on total goals scored. However, D.C. United can win the group outright if it beats the Montreal Impact by two goals or more in Tuesday night's Group C finale.

If D.C. United lose, draw or win by one goal, the Revs will advance to the Round of 16 as the Group C No. 2 seed and play the Philadelphia Union on Saturday, July 25, at 10:30 p.m. ET. If D.C. United win by two goals or more, New England will advance as a Wild Card team, with seeding for the Round of 16 determined by tiebreakers (goal differential, then total goals scored).

Toronto dominated possession during the first half, but the Revs got a pair of quality chances early in the second half from defender Brandon Bye and midfielder Diego Fagundez.

Goalkeeper Matt Turner, who earned Man of the Match honors, also stepped up with a big save in the 78th minute to keep the game scoreless.

The final 10 minutes featured some controversy, as Toronto's Michael Bradley appeared to make contact with Revs forward Gustavo Buo in the box but no penalty was called.

The Round of 16 begins July 25, and the Revs will know their fate following Tuesday night's Group C finale between D.C. United and the Montreal Impact.

The New England Revolution conclude their Group C action in the 2020 MLS is Back Tournament with an early Tuesday morning game versus Toronto FC.

The Revs and Toronto FC enter this matchup tied atop the group with four points apiece (one win and one draw). If New England wins, it will advance to the knockout stages of the tournament as the Group C winner. A draw also would see the Revolution go through to the knockout rounds.

New England opened the tournament with a 1-0 victory over the Montreal Impact before earning a 1-1 draw with D.C. United last week. The Revolution should have plenty of scoring chances versus a Toronto squad that's allowed five goals in two games -- at least two more goals against than any other group stage leader after Monday's games.
