Whom will Daniel Theis pick first?

The NBA announced Tuesday that the All-Star Game will switch formats and will not longer have the teams split up by conference affiliation. Instead, two captains will pick the teams.

Twelve players from each conference will still be selected for the game, but the captains (chosen by fan vote) will select how the rosters will look for the game.

The starters for the game will be chosen by 50 percent fan vote, 25 percent player vote and 25 percent media vote. The head coach of each conference will pick seven reserves.

Last season, LeBron James and Steph Curry received the most fan votes in their conference.

The All-Star Game will be played Feb. 18 at the Staples Center.
