Trade rumors don't bother Rondo

BOSTONIn his sixth NBA season, Rajon Rondo is already used to this by now.

His name continues to be floated around in trade rumors as the deadline approaches this month.

Its like dj vu, he said following the Boston Celtics win over the New Jersey Nets.

Rondo dismissed talks of conflicts with head coach Doc Rivers and said no parts of the trade rumors bother him.

I dont know where people are getting their information from, he said. But it was big of Doc to come out with a statement. People are still going to say me and Doc have problems. But even after that comment and statement he made, they are still going to say what they want to say. Its just part of life.

He also pointed out the improvement in communication between himself, Rivers, and Celtics President of Basketball Operations Danny Ainge.

Danny called me a couple days ago, but Danny and I always talk, he said. Not just because of all the trade talk. We talk like once a week and same thing goes for Doc. So our communication has gotten better over the years.

Prior to Friday's game, Rivers expressed he was not pleased with the Rondo trade rumors, including one that also mentioned Pau Gasol.

"There was no truth to that (the C's were aggressively shopping Rondo), and the Gasol thing was even crazier, Rivers said. That was just ridiculous. When that kind of stuff happens, it bothers you.
