Sittinger made five relief appearances with the Diamondbacks last season, allowing four runs over 4 2/3 frames, before being removed from their 40-man roster last October. The 27-year-old righty spent the majority of the year at Double-A Amarillo and Triple-A Reno where he posted a 4.12 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 53/17 K/BB ratio across 39 1/3 innings (35 appearances). He’ll augment the Braves’ organizational relief depth this upcoming season.

Diamondbacks sent RHP Brandyn Sittinger outright to Triple-A Reno.
Sittinger spent a little time in the majors this year as a September callup and surrendered four earned runs on five hits and two walks over 4 2/3 innings. The 27-year-old right-hander will not be part of the 40-man roster in Arizona leading into the offseason.

Diamondbacks optioned RHP Brandyn Sittinger to Triple-A Reno.
It was a cool story to see the 27-year-old former Indy ball pitcher reach the majors, but he struggled in his five appearances. Hopefully he’ll get another shot at some point.
