The BMW Championship will take place over a span of four days, starting on Thursday, Aug. 26, until Sunday, Aug. 29. The competition takes place at the Caves Valley Golf Club in Owings Mills, Md.

What are the 2021 FedEx Cup standings?
Only 70 golfers remain now, after the field was cut down from 125 from the results of The Northern Trust, in the hunt for the 2021 FedEx Cup title.
With his win that earned him 2,000 FedEx Cup points, Finau sits atop the standings with 3,348 points. He jumped up 22 spots in the standings with his first PGA win since 2016.
Jon Rahm sits in second after his third-place finish in Jersey City, behind Finau by 585 points. However, just 24 points behind him is Smith, who shot up from 16th to third thanks to his second-place finish.
The previous top four golfers heading into the FedEx Cup playoffs all dropped in the standings. Collin Morikawa, who led the field a week ago, was cut after the second round of The Northern Trust after shooting 2-over, earning no points and dropping to sixth in the standings. Jordan Spieth went down from second to seventh, Patrick Cantlay dropped from third to fourth and Harris English moved from fourth to eighth.
Reigning FedEx Cup winner Dustin Johnson is ranked 22nd. The other previous winners in the field are No. 5 Justin Thomas (2017 champ), No. 27 Billy Horschel (2014) and No. 28 Rory McIlroy (2016 and 2019).
Some big names that failed to qualify for this weekend are Matthew Wolf, Tyrell Hatton, Bubba Watson and 2012 champion Brandt Snedeker. 2018 champion Justin Rose had failed to qualify for The Northern Trust, finishing one spot outside the Top 125.
