A new smartphone app could offer football fans an added bonus when attending games in the future.
Kevin Clark of the Wall Street Journal recently wrote about the idea of offering access to additional sounds of the game by connecting microphones the players use to communicate with one another to smartphones throughout the stadium.
In his piece, Clark writes "owners have granted permission for the league to place microphones on certain players so that fans can hear on-field commentary via an in-the-work app that would distribute raw feeds."

And there's a chance that not only would fans be able to hear the players, but also how the coaches communicate with them as well.
