LAKE FOREST, IL - The Bears have agreed to terms with tight end Evan Rodriguez on a four-year contract.

The Bears selected Rodriguez with the 111th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft out of Temple. Rodriguez was a two-time first-team all-MAC selection (2010 and 2011), finishing with 69 receptions for 871 yards and seven touchdowns. The 6-2, 239-pounder led the Owls with 35 receptions for 479 yards and two touchdowns last season.

Rodriguez is the third Bears selection from the 2012 NFL Draft to sign with the team, joining wide receiver Alshon Jeffery (second round, 45th overall) and kick returnercornerback Greg McCoy (seventh round, 220th overall).

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
