The Chicago Bears selected Notre Dame tight end, Cole Kmet, with the 43rd pick of the 2020 NFL draft in an effort to increase production from a position that's such a critical piece of Matt Nagy's offense.
Kmet caught 43 passes for 515 yards and six touchdowns in 2019, his first full year as a starter for the Fighting Irish.
A promising receiver who's still growing into his frame, Kmet will combine with veteran Jimmy Graham to create mismatches in the passing game for Nagy and whoever's playing quarterback to exploit.
