The Bears received a boost to their defense in Week 15 against the Packers with the return of Akiem Hicks to the starting lineup. Hicks has been on injured reserve since Week 5 with an elbow injury.

His impact was felt immediately in the first quarter with several disruptive plays in the backfield.

Unfortunately, Hicks' elbow didn't hold up. He exited the game during the Packers' second series in apparent pain and with his left arm dangling by his side, and while he did return to the lineup, but was forced out a second time with just under 14 minutes left in the fourth quarter. He was writhing on the ground in pain.

Assuming Hicks' day is done, he'll finish Week 15 with four tackles. We'll have more on Hicks' elbow injury as details emerge.
