Bears may have brushed with COVID-19 for second time this season

The Bears are hoping everyone is healthy after playing a team that has dealt with COVID-19 for the second time this season.

While the test hasn’t been confirmed yet, the Panthers are reportedly taking extra caution.

The Panthers also placed lineman Tyler Larsen on the COVID-19 reserve before Sunday’s game against the Bears, although that doesn’t necessarily mean he tested positive for the virus himself.

There have been no reports of any Bears positive COVID-19 tests since practice squad offensive lineman Badara Traore tested positive last week. However, the team was without Juan Castillo on Sunday as he self-quarantined after coming into contact with someone who had tested positive.

In Week 3, the Bears played the Atlanta Falcons who had also placed a player on COVID-19 reserve just one day before the game.
