Chicago Bears fans aren't happy on social media. The team's restrictive training camp policy prohibits members of the media from sharing their thoughts and observations about what they're seeing at practice while other teams (like the Detroit Lions) are live streaming practice on Periscope.
But fear not! The Bears are, in fact, throwing a bone to the fans in a new Hard Knocks-style web series titled, "1920 Football Drive."
In case you didn't know, that's the address for Halas Hall.
The show premieres Monday night at 8:00 p.m. on the Bears' YouTube channel.
"You'll see what it's like in a team meeting," said Bears receiver Anthony Miller, "what it's like in a positional meeting, what it's like at practice through mic'd up players and coaches."
So, yeah, it's frustrating that we won't get real-time updates from reporters on the scene at Bears camp, but this series will be a treat for fans that want an inside look at the comings and goings at Halas Hall.
