It finally happened, Bears head coach Matt Nagy handed over play-calling duties to Bill Lazor.
Nagy had been reluctant to hand over play-calling duties up until this point, and while some fans celebrated, others took to Twitter to thank the coach for making a decision for the betterment of the team.
The timing of the switch (aside from the Friday evening news dump) was perhaps just right.
The Bears have lost three games in a row and a promising season was slipping away.
But the move has earned the respect of fans.
We'll see how it goes when the Bears play the Vikings on Monday night.
