On Thursday evening, Bears' First-Team All-Pro safety Eddie Jackson received some kinds words from one of the greatest players in NFL history to play in the secondary.

Reed's comments were on a highlight tape on Jackson's Instagram, the video showing off some of the best moments from Jackson's awesome 2018 in which he collected six interceptions, 15 defended passes, 2 forced fumbles, and 3 total defensive touchdowns.

Reed's kind words definitely meant a lot to Jackson, who promptly congratulated Reed on his HOF induction.

But, the biggest compliment of all of course was the fact that Reed said "see you down the road in there!"

Jackson is only entering his third season in the NFL, but has clearly turned heads in a short amount of time. Next year will be Jackson's first year under new defensive coordinator Chuck Pagano, and if you trust the scouting skills of Ed Reed—and who wouldn't?—Jackson is in store for an even bigger 2019 season.
