Bears injury report: Akiem Hicks misses Wednesday's practice

Share

The Chicago Bears injury report read like a who's who of stars with names like Akiem Hicks, Eddie Jackson and Kyle Long all making an appearance.

Hicks is the most concerning of the bunch. He was held out of Wednesday's session with a knee injury just a few days after tweaking that knee against Redskins. Coach Matt Nagy is giving an optimistic spin on Hicks' prognosis, but we won't know about his availability for Sunday's divisional showdown with the Vikings until later in the week.

Taylor Gabriel sat out of practice as he goes through the NFL's concussion protocol. Turbo jump-started Chicago's offense with three touchdowns against Washingon and will be a huge loss if he can't suit up against Minnesota.

Bilal Nichols remains sidelined with a hand injury (he missed Week 3).

Here's the complete injury report from Wednesday:

DNP:
Mike Davis (personal)
Taylor Gabriel (concussion)
Akiem Hicks (knee)
Bilal Nichols (hand)
Eddy Piñeiro (knee)

Limited:
Eddie Jackson (shoulder)
RRH (glute), Patterson (tricep)

Full:
Trey Burton (groin)
Kyle Long (hip)
Bobby Massie (illness)
