Report: Trubisky to avoid shoulder surgery

Bears

Good news for Mitch Trubisky and the Bears, as the QB will reportedly not need to have surgery on his shoulder:

Trubisky hurt his shoulder on a three-yard run in the Bears' loss to New Orleans last Sunday. After feeling discomfort in his throwing shoulder throughout the rest of the night, he flew out to Los Angeles to get a second opinion from orthopedic surgeon Dr. Neal ElAttrache. He'll be considered week-to-week going forward.
