Bears Super Bowl odds jump drastically after only two quarters vs. Packers

It’s easy to overreact to one big game, but the NFL reacted to a big first half of football from the Bears on Sunday night against the Green Bay Packers.

Khalil Mack dominated while Mitchell Trubisky ran Matt Nagy’s offense to perfection, and Chicago took a 17-0 lead into halftime.

It was an impressive showing, and evidently it was enough for bettors in Las Vegas to start throwing some money on the Bears. The Westgate SuperBook responded by moving up their Super Bowl odds from 50/1 to 18/1, an incredible jump from a team that was at 100/1 during the summer.

Gamblers across the nation will be watching closely to see how other sportsbooks respond to the strong start from Chicago.

Westgate didn’t even wait for the game to end before they made their move, but it’s only one week of football off of which to base these significant changes.

The Bears came back down to Earth a bit in the second half, but they still gave fans plenty of reasons to be optimistic about their success in 2018.
