First look at custom Bears cleats designed for charity

Share

The Bears unveiled new custom cleats they will wear this Sunday that they hope will not only turn heads on the field, but also turn fans on to charitable causes near to their hearts. It’s part of the NFL’s “My Cause My Cleats” program, which started back in 2016.Players can wear unique cleats to represent the charity of their choice, then have the option of wearing those cleats during pregame warmups, or ingame. Then after the final whistle, players can opt to send their shoes to NFL Auctions where fans can bid on the cleats. All proceeds from those auctions then go to support the charity the player has chosen.Scroll on to see the custom shoes the Bears will wear when they take on the Lions in Week 13.
