Due to COVID-19 concerns, Bears DT Eddie Goldman to opt-out of 2020 season

Bears defensive tackle Eddie Goldman has reportedly opted out of the 2020 NFL season:

It's big news for the team, which has relied on Goldman heavily since drafting him in the second round back in 2015. Since then, he's played in 67 games, starting 63 of them; he's been one of the Bears' most consistently good defensive players over that stretch.

Rapoport didn't specify on why Goldman will opt out, only reporting that it's "health concerns related to COVID-19." With Goldman sitting out the season, the Bears will look to Akiem Hicks, Bilal Nichols, and Roy Robertson-Harris to fill the void that Goldman leaves. Both John Jenkins and Lee Autry are also players listed behind him on ESPN's official team depth chart
