The Bears added two more Pro Football Hall of Famers Wednesday with the announcement that Jimbo Covert and Ed Sprinkle will be enshrined as part of the Hall's centennial class.
Covert played nine years with the Bears (1983-91) after joining the club as a sixth-round pick from Pittsburgh. The two-time First-Team All-Pro was part of a dominant offensive line that helped lead the league in rushing four times during his career. He's been long considered a Hall-of-Fame snub.

Sprinkle played 12 seasons with the Bears (1944-55) and was part of Chicago's 1946 championship squad. He was an NFL All-Decade selection for the 1940s.
The Bears now have 30 players in the Hall of Fame, more than any other team in the NFL.
