The Chicago Bears fell victim to the Green Bay Packers at Soldier Field in Thursday night's season opener, 10-3, in what was a game highlighted by strong defense and an underwhelming performance by Bears QB Mitch Trubisky.

Here's what Packers players said after moving to 1-0 and gaining an early-season edge over the Bears.

Packers LB Za'Darius Smith:

“I think we came together as a team. I talked to them and I told everybody, let’s shock the world on 3, shock the world on me. I felt like we did that tonight and we’re going to prepare for next week.”

Packers LB Preston Smith:

“I think we have a lot of people seeing what this defense can be. We’re going to go out there and work on the stuff we need to work on for next week. I think we woke a lot of people up. A lot of people didn’t believe in us. They had us ranked low, but we don’t care about them or the outside noise. We care about playing hard defense and winning games.”

Packers CB Tramon Williams:

“Anytime you play a division opponent, especially in Chicago, it’s definitely a big one. We have a tough Minnesota team coming, and we have a tough schedule in general. So we just have to take it week by week. We understand that we have to continue to work, it’s only one game, but we’re going to try and build off this game."
