Before the Foles trade, the Bears odds to win the Super Bowl were 50-1.
After the trade? Still, 50-1.
Woof. That is the very definition of a 'meh' trade.

And we get it... there was a lot sexier quarterback movement in this NFL Free Agency period... a lot of staggering quarterback movement in general TBH.
You got Tom Brady joining a Tampa Bay offense with weapons. Phillip Rivers is joining the Indianapolis Colts. Teddy Bridgewater will be the starter in Carolina alongside Christian McCaffery in the backfield.
It's not even the sexiest trade that's happened, Kyler Murray and the Cardinals just stole wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins from the Texans.
And the rest of the NFL seemingly did things to bolster their own Super Bowl odds for other teams. Baker Mayfield and the Browns added more offensive weapons. New England will get some quarterback and probably still win the division, though the Buffalo Bills just added wide receiver Stefon Diggs.
But here is the thing... Foles doesn't need to be Peyton Manning or Tom Brady at their peaks to lead this Bears team to a Super Bowl.
They added pass rusher Robert Quinn to complement Khalil Mack, which should lead to more quarterback pressure and hopefully more interceptions and fumbles. The defense should be shades of 2018.
Allen Robinson is a stud wide receiver who just needs catchable balls. We've seen what Anthony Miller can do when targeted. Jimmy Graham is in the mix at tight end, and hopefully can be a red zone threat. Maybe Tarik Cohen and David Montgomery can be better utilized this year... or utilized at all.
But Foles knows Nagy's offense. He won a Super Bowl in Philadelphia with a Andy Reid disciple. He was in Kansas City with Reid and Nagy. Hell, Nagy let Foles borrow his car once.
If I wasn't quarantined to my house and could go to a casino, I'd take those odds.
