The Kevin White era is officially over in Chicago, as Ryan Pace’s first draft pick as Bears General Manager is on his way to the Arizona Cardinals. On Friday evening, the 26-year old White posted a message on Instagram thanking the Bears organization for the opportunity and let the fans know that despite a rough start to his career, he has big things in store for the near future.

Thank you Ryan pace and the Bears organization for changing my life forever, and for that I will forever be thankful! It didn’t turn out how we wanted but it taught me more lessons than success could have ever did. To the fans, I wasn’t able to show you barely anything in Chicago but stay tuned! ✌🏾
White was the No. 7 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft after a particularly impressive NFL Combine performance.
Despite standing at an impressive 6-foot-3 and 216 lbs, White was never able to string together any sort of consistency as injuries derailed him time and time again. Over his three NFL seasons, he only played in 14 total games and his best season was 19 receptions for 187 yards.
The Cardinals of course have the No. 1 pick in the 2019 NFL draft, and are heavily linked to Oklahoma star Kyler Murray and rumored to be looking for trade partners for Josh Rosen. Only time will tell who is the signal-caller for the Cards next year, but one thing for certain, Kevin White provides an immense amount of boom-or-bust potential for the rebuilding squad.
