Madden 21 sim: Rams beat Bears as Floyd gets his revenge

Share

As we hit Week 7 in our Madden 21 simulation series, the virtual Bears travel to Los Angeles to take on the Rams in prime time on Monday Night Football.

Much like their real-life counterparts in the past few games, the Madden version of the Bears once again relied heavily on the passing game. Nick Foles threw the ball 45 times for 300 yards, but for no touchdowns (or interceptions either).

The run game was almost non-existent. While David Montgomery did score the Bears’ lone touchdown, he only accounted for five of their 28 rushing yards in the entire game.

The Rams' defense shined under the lights, and a familiar face did some huge damage. In his first game against his former team, linebacker Leonard Floyd recorded two sacks and four tackles. Superstar defensive tackle Aaron Donald added two sacks of his own.

The nail in the coffin game early in the fourth quarter, when Kenny Young returned a Nick Foles fumble for a touchdown, sealing a 23-13 win for the Rams. Somehow, the virtual Bears are 0-7 so far in these simulations! Here’s hoping their real-life counterparts continue to prove them wrong on Monday night.
