Mitch Trubisky didn't have a great game in Sunday's Week 9 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, but he was far from the worst player on the Chicago Bears' offense, according to the analytics.
In fact, he was one of the five best.
Pro Football Focus issued a 60.7 grade for Trubisky's performance, which represents his best score of 2019. It's a strong indication of how bad his year has been when a game in which the Bears' offense produced just nine yards in the first half resulted in his highest grade. The 53-yard completion to wide receiver Taylor Gabriel likely helped.

Trubisky finished the game 10-of-21 for 125 yards. He didn't throw a touchdown or an interception and made a minimal impact on the ground with just 15 yards on two carries.
Speaking of Gabriel, he was the highest-graded player on Chicago's offense in the 22-14 loss. He finished the game with an 80.0 grade after catching all three of his targets for 69 yards.
On the flipside, Tarik Cohen (44.1) and Adam Shaheen (40.8) were the two lowest grades issued to the Bears on offense. Cohen was especially disappointing. He had two drops and managed just 4.5 yards per catch. Cohen, who's one of Chicago's most explosive playmakers, has struggled to make much of an impact so far this year.
