The Bears are officially allowed to return back to Halas Hall.
In an email sent out on Thursday night, the team announced that they "have been cleared by the NFL to resume full activities at Halas Hall tomorrow, continuing under the league's intensive protocol."
The practice facility has been shut down since mid-Thursday morning, when players and staff were sent home after a positive case was identified. When Matt Nagy talked to media on Thursday afternoon, he didn't yet know if the team would be able to return on Friday – the team was still working through the required contract-tracing and facility cleaning. A full return to practice also suggests that Sunday's game in Tennessee remains on schedule.
Barring more positive tests popping up (which, at this point, is still entirely possible), the Bears are set to be back out on the practice fields at 12:30 tomorrow.
