NFL Draft 2020: Jaylon Johnson's already got quite the chip on his shoulder

It was a big night for Quotes That Bears Fans Will Eat Up.

First, you had Illinoisian (Illinoite? Illini?) Cole Kmet talking about how much he loved the Bears growing up, and how much he enjoyed watching Greg Olsen and Brian Urlacher. It's the stuff that's made for t-shirts that the Bears can sell you at far above market value.

Then Jaylon Johnson talked with local Chicago media, and the quotes will make you want to strap on the pads with him. Johnson was considered by many to have a Day 1 grade, but shoulder concerns (the irony!) caused him to fall to the Bears at 50. He wasn't particularly thrilled about slipping that far, and he's not forgetting any time soon:

"Honestly, I couldn't tell you exactly where I thought I should go in the first round, but definitely somewhere in that mix," he said. "Honestly I'm not sure how much my shoulder hurt my draft stock. I feel like it could of. I feel like that I might have been an impact on it but I'm not too sure. At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter because they didn't pick me and the Bears did. So clearly, my shoulder's not too big of an issue. So I mean, at this point, it's just about moving forward.

Yes Jaylon! Now trash the Packers!
