Another week of the NFL season is in the books, and perhaps it showed the effects of COVID-19 on the season. Week 2 saw a rash of injuries to star players across the league.
The San Francisco 49ers were notably hit hard with injuries to pass rusher Nick Bosa, quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, running back Raheem Mostert and defensive tackle Solomon Thomas.
Star running backs Saquon Barkley and Christian McCaffrey were also injured.

Fortunately, the Bears were able to escape Week 2 without serious injuries. And they barely escaped with a win over the New York Giants.
