Eight weeks and seven games into the 2019 NFL season, the Bears standing in the latest Power Rankings aren't exactly where Bears fans thought they'd be.
The Bears aren't in the NFL's top five. They aren't among the three best in the NFC. The top 10? Nope.
Surely, the Bears can't be outside the top 15, right? They did, after all, win the NFC North last season and began this year with the league's most ferocious defense.

Sadly, they are.
And that's what happens when you lose to an inferior opponent like Chicago did in Week 8 against the Chargers. The Bears defense did its part; in fact, Los Angeles fired their offensive coordinator this week despite coming away with the win.
But Chicago's offense failed them again, led by quarterback Mitch Trubisky, whose regression has been almost as bad as the Bears' in the latest NFL Power Rankings.
