The Chicago Bears targeted Nick Foles this offseason for a reason: He knows Matt Nagy's offense, he's familiar with the coaches, and as a result, he'd be ready to start right away (even with COVID-19 impacting the offseason).
During his Zoom call with reporters on Friday, Foles confirmed his comfort level with the Bears' offense.

"I'm going to focus on getting to be myself and when a play is called playing to the best of my ability," Foles said.
Foles comes to Chicago after a less-than-ideal season in Jacksonville after the Jaguars signed him to a substantial four-year, $88 million deal. He was injured in Week 1 and ultimately lost his starting job to sixth-round sensation, Gardner Minshew.
But all of that is ancient history now. He's been given a fresh start with the Bears and will battle Mitch Trubisky for the starting job this summer. And while Trubisky is the favorite in the locker room and likely the preferred choice of Ryan Pace, if Foles plays like the guy who led the Eagles on a miraculous Super Bowl run in 2017, it won't take long for him to become QB1.
Foles, who's gone 26-22 as a starter, has a career completion percentage of 61.9% with 71 touchdowns and 35 interceptions.
